The president and his administration have been facing legal battles for some time now in their two years in leadership.
Well, it seems like things are not changing anytime soon. According to the new reports from the courts, Justice Bahati Mwamuye has stopped his order.
A few weeks ago, president William Issued an order directing all government agencies to shift their accounts to E-citizens.

According to him, this move was aimed at making sure resources are centralized and corruption is minimized. However, few CEOs of these state agencies defied the order by the President and moved to court.
Well, the court has grabbed their wish by blocking President William Ruto from firing then if they fail to move the agency accounts to E-citizens.
The judge has ruled that the injection will be in place until the case is heard and determined. Meaning, all this time, the president will have to wait before implementing the shift.
“HIGH COURT suspends President Ruto’s directive to 34 State agencies to migrate to eCitizen platform; blocks removal of CEOs over their failure to comply with the presidential order.” Report.
