
For days now, Kenyans have been firing Salvos at Finance Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi. This is after he claimed that, the government is not able to fund the capitation as required.
In his statement, he claimed that the capitation of 22,000 shillings was strenuous to the government due to tough economic times. He claimed that the administration of the day, Kenya Kwanza, is only able to remit 16,000 shillings to schools.
Well, the President of the republic of Kenya, his Excellency William Ruto, has finally issued a statement on the matter leaving Kenyans.

According to President William Ruto, the government has the funds to support the free Education and he is not planning to reduce the capitation to schools. Speaking at Ack church, Kariobangi brunch. The head of state asked Kenyans not to Punic since he has a plan.
” We as the government, we are committed to making sure that our kids go to school and get quality education. We are determined to promote free Education in our schools. Parents should not Punic but be patient with us.” Said President William Ruto.
