During the Jubilee Party National Delegates Conference, Former President Uhuru Kenyatta fired Salvos at President William Ruto’s administration.
According to him, the government was in bad faith for failing to maintain the Linda Mama initiative.
An initiative that was put in place during Jubilee administration with an aim of making sure all mothers deliver babies in good environments. Well, President William Ruto has responded to the claims.

According to President William Ruto, Linda Jamii is more vast and with good packages as compared to Linda Mama.
Speaking to Journalists in a video seen by us, the President claimed that Linda Jamii is now covering a whole homestead unlike Linda Mama which was only taking care of expectant mothers. He pleaded with Kenyans to support him in making sure that the country is secured health wise.
We are making sure that the whole country is secured with good health packages. If you look at Linda Mama, it was only covering mothers. Now, we are looking at the whole homestead being covered under Linda Jamii. This is something good that should not be Ignored. I want to thank my former boss for starting Linda Mama. What I have done is to improve on it. We are going to succeed in that. ” Said President William Ruto.
