This holiday, Schools have been streaming to Mombasa in numbers for what has been termed vacation. Those in Mombasa have been witnessing school busses crisscrossing the town, visiting various tourist sites.
Well, as the rest of the pupils in different schools continue to celebrate. One family is not happy at all after receiving devastating news of their loved one. According to the report by Nyoro, the parents were informed after a long silence from the school.
Here Is the Message Posted By Nyoro.
On Sunday night Grade 9 learners from Good Shepherd Njabini had an academic trip to the coast. All was well until communication from the school WhatsApp group went quiet on 5th. The same day in the evening they received the below message in the whatsApp group.
“Good evening our esteemed parents,, First and foremost I want to thank God 🙏 for the way he has taken care of us together with your brilliant learners,,,
Secondly, I thank you all of you parents,,, you trusted us with your children healthy and kicking to go and spend our August recess in the coast, Mombasa and malindi.
Third, Learners are really enjoying the coastal area beautiful sceneries since so far we have visited,
1.fort Jesus
2.ferry to likoni
3.mombasa old town
4.Beach
The other thing is that today 5/8/2025 we visited malindi to see Vasco da gama pillar and then beach where learners enjoyed greatly,,,
God is good all the time,,, and he has been good throughout,,, Everything happens for a reason and for a season 🙏🙏. The big question in life is WHY??????
😭😭😭😭😭 Unfortunately one of our learners while in the beach drowned and the good God 🙏 took his life away,,, that is why we have been silent in the group trying to find him will the help of police and the concerned authorities,,,,
By consulting the parents they have agreed we inform very close members like you before things go viral on the social media you know 😭😭😭
REST IN PEACE MTOTO WETU JOSHUA PETER MBURU,,,”
