
The Judicial Service commission has been hit with death again. According to the information shared by Chief Justice Martha Koome, a respected magistrate has rested. She has been eulogized as a trusted individual who was committed to serving Kenyans in totality. Many Kenyans have joined in to pay their tribute to the fallen heroine who has gone to be with the lord.
Hon. Zena Atetwe until her demise was serving at Milimani Court commercial docket. She was a Resident magistrate. According to those close to the family, she died today after a long illness. May Almighty grant her soul peace in eternal life.

“It is with a profound sense of loss and sadness that I announce the death of Hon. Zena Atetwe Rashid Jalenga, Resident Magistrate, Milimani Commercial Court, which occurred early in the morning of October 20, 2024 following a long illness bravely borne.” Wrote Martha Koome.
“During her service in the Judiciary, Hon. Rashid exhibited firm commitment to the cause of justice and the rule of law, working diligently and in keeping with the values of the Constitution in service to our nation. On my own behalf and that of the Judiciary fraternity, I extend heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and loved ones. We pray that the Almighty God graces us the fortitude to brave this difficult period and rests her soul in eternal peace.” Added Martha Koome.
