Well, today, she has announced another devastating news to the general public. She has shared the news of the passing on of a senior magistrate who was until his death serving in the Rift valley region.

Chief Justice Martha Koome has mourned the passing on of Hon. Benard Kipyegon Rugut of Molo law courts. Until his demise, he was serving as the Principal Magistrate at the said court. Prior to him serving in Molo, he served in Siaya County and Kericho County.
The late has been eulogized as a determined man who was always ready to serve the national diligently in all capacities he served before demise. The Judiciary service commission has really lost a determined individual in their ranks.
