Death can be a devastating thing that happens to a family. No family agrees to losing their keen who was full of life and many dreams ahead of them. It snatches people who are productive, loved and dependable in respective families.
Well, according to the latest report, the family of former President Uhuru Kenyatta has been thrown into mourning after the latest development, the death of his brother in-law Gakuo. Kenyans are sending their condolences messages to the family. They are mourning the death of his brother-in-law, William Maina Gakuo.
“It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of William Gakuo,” an obituary from a local daily dated Saturday, November 9, stated. Gakuo is the brother of Uhuru’s wife Margret Kenyatta.
The late Gakuo was the only brother to President Uhuru’s wife Mama Margret Kenyatta. They met back in high school, St. Mary’s High School where they were both schooling. Gakuo was the link between Uhuru and Margret, a beautiful love story that has lasted long since their meetup.
The family is currently meeting at Gakuo Karen residence. The meetings are expected today on November 9, and tomorrow 10th. The cottage will then leave for Hindu crematory site for a final send-off. Our condolences to Mama Kenyatta and the entire family at large.
