According to the latter released by the President to the Media houses. Youths who were killed or lost their lives during Protests will be compensated. The Police officers and the general public who lost their lives will be compensated by the Kenya Kwanza administration. The compensation will date back to 2017.
Makau Mutua has been tasked with the coordination of the whole process by President William Ruto. Kenyans have taken to social media to appreciate the president for taking the right step in bringing closure to the families that lost their loved ones.
