Oscar Sudi blasts Rigathi Gachagua over 2027 chaos remarks. He accused him of dangerous incitement, careless political theatrics, and involving innocent children in his political conflicts.
Sudi’s fury came. Hours after Gachagua made highly contentious statements threatening that if the 2027 polls were handled improperly, Kenya might experience chaos worse than the post-election violence of 2007–2008.
According to Sudi, those statements were not only irresponsible but also a direct threat to the country’s fragile peace. In a dramatic escalation, Sudi went beyond accusing Gachagua of using children for political benefit and inciting chaos in order to gain political sympathy. In a heated Facebook post, Sudi wrote:
Wamunyoro, you’ve crossed a red line! Leave the kids out of your petty politics. You’re in cohort with your drama king, Cleophas Malalamiko, to use kids for cheap points. Tear gas in a church? Give it a rest. Everyone knows you were crushed in Mbeere. And now you’re looking for sympathy? Mad Man!”
Sudi had earlier published a video criticizing Gachagua for using the violence of 2007–2008 in what he called a last-ditch effort to spread fear before 2027.

He described Gachagua’s comments as “verbal diarrhea,” cautioning that thousands of families are still dealing with the extremely traumatic post-election violence period. “Many people are still in pain.
“Do not drag the country backward for political leverage,” Sudi warned, accusing Gachagua of taking advantage of the nation’s tragedy to promote his agenda.
According to Gachagua, any manipulation of the 2027 election will lead to chaos worse than the 2007 crisis, and it is the electoral commission’s duty to prevent what he implied could be conflict.
Sudi accused Gachagua of creating a victim narrative following what he called an embarrassing defeat in Mbeere in his subsequent attack, which was directed at the alleged use of children.
