Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna has made it clear his political position on the possibility of him working with the opposition team which is currently being led by Gachagua, Matiang’i, Kalonzo and other leaders.
Despite being the spokesperson of ODM, the vibrant legislator has revealed his position in working with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to Sifuna, the nation’s first priority is seeing President William Ruto out of office. For this reason, he will not mind working with Gachagua if his target is to remove more votes from the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“Former DP Gachagua is impeached, he cannot run. I do not understand why people talk about him as a viable candidate. The value proposition for Gachagua for me, from an ODM perspective, is that he is taking away votes that helped beat us in 2022. For as long as he is taking away votes from Ruto, I don’t care where he takes them; he is not giving William Ruto. If Raila Odinga were to get the exact same number of votes that he got in 2022 in 2027 and William Ruto loses Mt Kenya, Raila will be President. That is how I see it as SG!” Said Sifuna.
