President William Ruto is facing a tough political decision ahead of the 2027 general election. In a move that was seen as an attempt to stop youths revolution against him, he brought in opposition figures to his administration to help him run key ministries.
The decision to add Raila allies to his administration under the tag broad based government sparked mixed reactions online. Youths until today are attacking Odinga online claiming he took advantage of them to Join the government.
Well, it seems like 2027 politics will be interesting. While speaking today, the Orange democratic Party member of Parliament has told Ruto the only thing that will stop him from winning a second term in 2027. According to Kaluma, president William Ruto will win the 2027 general election only if Raila Odinga does not run for the top seat.

“I have been to Nyanza, Western, Rift Valley, North Eastern, Coast, Eastern, Central and back to Nairobi this Christmas season.
I can now report that President @WilliamsRuto will be re-elected in 2027, except if Baba @RailaOdinga runs.
Kenyans from Nyanza, Western, Rift Valley, North Eastern, Coast, Eastern and Nairobi who are 80% of Kenya’s population will vote for Ruto, if Raila does not run, to diminish tribal hegemony and entitlement by Kikuyus and to remind them that Kenya is far bigger than Mt. Kenya.
President Ruto must now listen. He must deliberately ensure equitable sharing of national resources and public service appointments across Kenya and secure affirmative action to regions which have been left out since independence.
This New Year, the leadership of all Committees in Parliament will also be reviewed to ensure it reflects the face of Kenya.” Posted Kaluma.
