President William Ruto and his allies are really having a hard time in Mount Kenya. For months now, it has always been the removal of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua from the office.
Those allied to Gachagua vowed to teach Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza allies a lesson come 2027. They promised to vote him out for allegedly shortchanging them.
Well, it seems like Gachagua is not the only headache for Ruto in Mount Kenya region. According to the latest video seen by this writer, it seems like things are not working well anymore.

Meru County is turning out to be a problem for Ruto. On December 21, 2024. Former Meru County governor Kiraitu Murungi called out Ruto for sidelining Meru people.
Now, fired Cabinet Secretary Linturi has echoed his sentiments. In a video seen he has promised not to sit back and watch as the region is sidelined. He has claimed, Meru people got a raw deal in the recent cabinet reshuffling.
” As a region, we got really a raw deal in the recent appointments. We literally got nothing from it. Despite standing firmly with the President in 2022. We are getting nothing at all. Trust should end, we can’t be used and dumped. ” Said Linturi.
