The head of state President William Ruto is currently in Germany with opposition leader Honerable Raila Odinga. He is also flanked by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, CS Alfred Mutua among other leaders.
On September 13, he signed an agreement with German leadership on job opportunities for Kenyans. Over 250,000 youths from Kenya are expected to migrate to Europe on terms agreed upon by Kenyan administration.
Well, questions have been raised on the viability of the deal and how Kenyans will be identified. Those who will he allowed to travel to Germany. The uncertainty has forced President William Ruto to issue a clarification.
Speaking to Kenyans in Germany, Ruto clarified that nobody will be forced to take up jobs in Germany as alleged by some people. He maintained that, those willing to migrate shall be facilitated to do so by the his administration. He went on to state the advantages of the deal.

1. Kenyans migrating to Germany will be protected and their rights won’t be violated like before.
2. They will receive equal treatment in terms of salary and other perks just like their German counterparts.
3. They will have an opportunity to bypass unnecessary barriers that are always erected by agencies.
4. Kenyans planning to move will also get quick visa facilitations from both countries.
5. Those with skills and need industrial attachment will have an opportunity to get one in German without restrictions.
