It started as a sombre day as many political leaders and Kenyans gathered for a funeral service of Moses Wetangula’s mother in Bungoma county but later on, politics took centre stage. Many of the broad based leaders were furious after Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya called on Ruto to stop the abductions in the country, something that resulted in a heated spat between Natembeya and Kimani Ichung’wah.
While Kimani Ichung’wah took his advantage of responding to Natembeya to hit hard at the popular Governor, Natembeya decided to explore other options as he made a comeback on Ichung’wah’s attacks.
Through his official X account, George Natembeya questioned why the National Assembly Majority Leader was bitter when he told Ruto the truth about abductions in the country. Natembeya went on to warn that he is not going to hide anything anymore.
According to George Natembeya, Rigathi Gachagua has no capacity to abduct anyone as Ichung’wah alleged. The Trans Nzoia Governor finished by calling on the government to release all the abducted Kenyans.
