Nelson Havi, a vibrant Advocate of the High Court of Kenya has come out crying after the latest development.
Havi who is known for his brave criticism of Chief Justice Martha Koome together with senior Counsel Ahmednasir on judicial leadership is under siege.
Through his X account, he has lamented how the government has plotted to ground him financially. Kenya Revenue authority agency has demanded that he pay 92 million Kenya shillings as tax. They are claiming he has not paid the money as required by the tax man.
“KRA is the most abused state agency. In April, 2022 Uhuru Kenyatta saddled me with a tax demand of Kshs 92M effectively designating me a billionaire. Our friends have found it fit to use it on me. As a billionaire, I will fight and win. It will be a precedent of setting litigation.” Posted Nelson Havi.
