Natembeya Finally Takes Action After He Was Blocked From Entering His Office For 60 Days

Tranzoia County governor, Natembeya was banned by the courts from setting foot in his office for the coming 60 days. According to the courts, that was one of the conditions given in his bail after being arrested for allegedly swindling the County money through proxies.

Despite terming his arrest as political witch-hunt and blackmail, the first time governor has taken action after being restricted from stepping to his office In Kitale Town.

According to the sources close to him, the governor has taken action by shifting his office from Kitale Town to Kiminini. He will conduct County matters from there for the next two months that the courts indicated.

Governor George Natembeya  Relocates Office Operations to Kiminini Following Court Directive

In compliance with a recent court ruling that temporarily barred him from accessing his main office in Kitale for 60 days, His Excellency Governor George Natembeya has officially shifted operations to the Kiminini Sub-County offices.

Preparations are currently in top gear, with all relevant county government departments already on the ground to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. The move underscores the Governor’s commitment to maintaining the momentum of development and governance across Trans Nzoia County.

Despite the legal hurdle, the Governor has remained focused, emphasizing that “Kazi lazima isonge mbele!” — work must go on.

This relocation also presents an opportunity to bring services closer to the people of Kiminini, further strengthening the county’s decentralization efforts.
