Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen came under fire yesterday after Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called him out for allegedly playing Politics with Mandera people while they were suffering from a possible attack from somalia soldiers.
Speaking in Mathioya, Gachagua claimed that he had intelligence, and told people that there were foreign soldiers roaming within Mandera County. Instead of acting, the cabinet secretary chose to dismiss the claims and instead play politics by denying the Presence of soldiers.

Gachagua went ahead to ask Mandera people to just hold on a little bit longer for the change to take place and when he becomes the President of the republic of Kenya in 2027, he will defend them at all costs.
People of Mandera are suffering, we should not be playing Politics with them. I said it in Mandera, there’s a lot of foreign soldiers roaming around without being contained by our security agencies. This is the Saddest reality. We should not be entertaining this at all.” Said Gachagua.
Well, according to Murkomen, Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka should not speak about security matters in public the way they are doing. This is because, they were part of the security team in the country and what they saw or heard must be confidential.
