National Assembly speaker Honorable Moses Wetangula has issued a strong message after Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Were was killed by gun men.
According to the reports, the MP was attacked by unknown gun men while riding in his White salon car. His body is currently at Nairobi hospital where police officers have also corded off his car for investigation.

Through his official X handle, Wetangula has asked the general public to remain calm as the police officers continue with the investigation of what has happened. He also assured Kenyans of comparation with the family of slain member of Parliament as things unfold.
“It is with profound shock and unspeakable sorrow that I have this evening received the devastating news of the fatal shooting of Hon. Ong’ondo Were, the Member of Parliament for Kasipul Constituency, in an incident that occurred along Ngong Road near City Mortuary, Nairobi.” Posted Wetangula.
