Yesterday on December 9, 2024. President William Ruto visited former President Uhuru Kenyatta at his home in Kiambu County. Their meeting sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans who alluded to a possible handshake between them after long days of volatile politics.
Well, President William Ruto Chief advisor Moses Kuria has Posted his personal message online after the meeting. In a long post on X, Kuria highlighted things that he respects to be done in the Mount Kenya region.
According to Moses Kuria, top leaders should now join hands and work for Kenyans. He has asked them to now explore good things in Building bridges initiative and implement them even if it means bringing it back as BBI2. He admits that they were wrong to reject the whole process that could have helped Kenyans and especially the Mount Kenya region.

Kuria has also asked Mount Kenya region residents not to fall into oblivion politically by being isolated by the rest of the country. He has asked Uhuru Kenyatta to revive the Jubilee Party and allow other people to Join him as a party leader going forward.
According to him, this will address the current leadership vacuum In Mount Kenya region. It will also reduce political temperatures that are growing within the region.
