President William Ruto’s Chief advisor Moses Kuria has finally opened up after the appointment of ; Lee Kinyanjui, Mutahi Kahiga and Kabogo to the cabinet.
The announcement from the President left Kenyans talking keeping in mind those appointed were against him in the 2022 general election.
Well, Kuria has sent a special message to President William Ruto after the appointments. He has thanked him for appointing Mount Kenya region sons to the cabinet. According to him, having Kindiki, Kabogo, Kinyanjui and Kagwe is a good sign of consolidating the region.
Kuria is one of the leaders from Mount Kenya region who publicly criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on his stand in Mount Kenya region.

Even on December 18, 2024. He posted a message blasting Gachagua just hours after the former Deputy President claimed Mount Kenya region has a debt to pay Kalonzo.
With the new appointments, he is probably hoping that the political dynamics in the Mount Kenya region will change and favour President William Ruto.
The President has been avoiding the central region for a while now since the youths protests and subsequent removal of Gachagua from office. He was heckled and called names in Embu county, the last event he attended in Mount Kenya leaving Embu governor pleading with residents to be tolerant.
