The de facto main opposition party, Democracy For The Citizens Party is undergoing a possible split if what is happening is what to go by.
Just a few days ago, its party leader former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua dressed down his Deputy publicly for going against the appointment of Mukhisa Kituyi as the opposition spokesperson.
Gachagua’s Remarks On Malalah Statement Rejecting Mukhisa Kituyi as Opposition Spokesperson.
While speaking in Laikipia, Gachagua asked Malala to relax and allow old politicians to be integrated with the youths so that the opposition team can run smoothly with experience and versatility.
Gachagua even went ahead to claim that Malalah has placed so many youths within the DCP party and therefore, it is important to add more elders.
Well, just after a video of Malalah accepting to have met Gachagua and agreed on working with Mukhisa Kituyi. He has pulled another move that has shocked many people.
According to the DAP Kenya Party, Dr. Eseli, the opposition team is conducting a meeting for a possibility of them fielding a single candidate in the Malava By-election. The preferred candidate in this case is Seth Panyako who is vying on the DAP Kenya Party.

The opposition team was meeting in Nairobi to formalize the agreement. Former Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah was in Malava campaigning for a DCP party candidate, Edgar Busiega.
This has left Kenyans talking online. Many are asking questions if Malalah will dump his candidate, Busiega and follow Seth panyako or he will stand with Busiega as an independent candidate?
Many Kenyans are anticipating a possible split Within DCP party. In Meru a few days ago, Hon. Mukunji called out DCP party for pulling out their candidate Hon. Mbui and fronted another person as the United opposition. Will DCP stand the wave?
