According to the video shared by the former Bungoma County governor Wycliffe Wangamati. It is Moses Wetangula who is fighting to stop him politically. He has asked residents of Bungoma county to be peaceful as things work out in the corridors of law.
” I want to ask the people of Bungoma one thing. To stay calm because what is happening to me is someone trying to bring his brother to run for the top seat. Therefore, they must do everything to make sure I don’t appear on that ballot box. I am going to win this and I will defeat them In the. 2027 general election.” Said Wangamati.

It is alleged that, he swindled the money through his family members who were also picked by the Police officers. He is currently at Pangani Police station awaiting arraignment tomorrow over the charges.
Bungoma County Residents Reactions On Wangamati’s Arrest.
Wetangula must Stop playing games with us. He is not the only person to control us here in Bungoma. He must stop frustrating Wangamati or we will show him dust come 2027 with those projects of his.” Said Wafula.
