Although it is just over two years since the last general election in the country, many leaders are already thinking about the 2027 general election. Many leaders are making new political formations and alliances as they think about strengthening themselves for the next poll.
While that is the case, today a close ally of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has left Kenyans surprised after he publicly begged them to contribute for him.
Through his official Facebook account, Wahome Thuku who is planning to vie for a parliamentary seat stated that at this moment, he doesn’t have CDF, he has not stolen and he doesn’t have a foreign donor thus, it is only willing Kenyans who can help him in his quest to become a Member of Parliament in the next general election.
Thuku maintained that he will soon be giving out a paybill for the contributions and promised Kenyans who will contribute that their money will be well accounted for.
