Kindiki claimed that, for years, residents there have been struggling to get identification cards due to such a long process that involved asking many questions from one Level to another. The procedure was tedious leaving people without crucial documents.
” People from this region should vote for President William Ruto in large numbers. Removal of the vetting process on the national identification cards has facilitated the registration of many Kenyans who were denied the essential documents for years. They are now enjoying the process.” Said Kindiki.
Well, Kenyans have called him out for his remarks. According to them, it seems like he is using the vetting process as a bribe for votes. They have asked the government to be careful with the process and not to temper the national security structures.
