Deputy President of the republic of Kenya Professor Kithure Kindiki has finally opened up on his relationship with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Kindiki took over office after Gachagua was unceremoniously removed from office by members of Parliament and Senate.
He was sworn to the office despite protests from the Gachagua team. They had rushed to court to block the move but the judges declined to extend the conservatory orders leaving him unhappy.

Well, during the interview in a clip shared by NTV Kenya, Kindiki made it clear his relationship with Gachagua since his removal from office.
Kindiki claimed during the interview that his relationship with Gachagua was not influenced by his removal from office. He continued by insisting that they are still friends despite what happened.
Although, he did not disclose if they have ever spoken in person or on phone since his removal and subsequent appointment of him as the new Deputy President of the republic of Kenya.
