Kimani Ichung’wah is one of the most known political leaders in the country. He is not only known because he is the Kikuyu Member of Parliament and President William Ruto’s close ally but he is also known because he is always vocal and extremely controversial in most occasions.
Time and again, Kimani Ichung’wah has been dominating headlines due to his controversial moves but today, things were not good on his side as he was thrown into fire.
Through his official X account, Alinur Mohamed attacked Kimani Ichung’wah as he publicly claimed that the popular MP is among those MPs pushing for a pay rise. According to Alinur, the MPs have failed in legislation and oversight duties yet they are there calling for pay rise.
Some few months ago, the MPs had to reject a proposal to increase their salaries due to the pressure they received from Gen Z and now, it is like being thrown into a dungeon of the youths when one’s name is called out for demanding a pay rise.
