For the last few years, Okiya Omtatah has been rising high in the political field. That is because he has been appearing to be the peoples lawyer due to his efforts of fighting for the people in the courts. That was enough to help him win the Busia county senatorial position in the 2022 general election and even after being elected, he didn’t stop his activism as he has been fighting with the people.
Today, Okiya Omtatah was back on it again as he publicly asked President William Ruto to do the unthinkable thus leaving Kenyans Perplexed.
As reported by The Standard through their official Telegram page, the Busia County Senator has now called President William Ruto to overhaul the Treasury and Finance Ministry. It is said that Omtatah feels that the National Treasury should be separated from the Ministry of Finance so as to curb the misappropriation of public funds.
