The question of who is Deputy President of the republic of Kenya is running in the minds of all Kenyans. Rigathi Gachagua was impeached by huge numbers at the national assembly and Senate.
He was accused of being tribal and syphoning public resources in two years. In his position, professor Kindiki was appointed as designated Deputy President, only for the courts to pull a plug on his swearing in process. Conservatory orders were issued in various courts.
Well, there was an incident at the Senate today that has left many Kenyans asking questions on the current constitutional quagmire.
According to the report, there was confusion at the Senate when Interior Cabinet Secretary Kindiki failed to appear before the committee. He was supposed to appear and explain what is happening within his docket.
His failure to appear angered a section of senators forcing Kakamega County senator Boni Khalawale to intervene. He claimed that Kindiki is currently in a tight position, he was appointed deputy President putting him in a tight position with an interior docket.
Kenyans are now demanding answers on who really is the second in command going forward. The matters are still being handled at the courts.
