
Today, on November 21, 2024. President William Ruto cancelled any deals between the republic of Kenya and Adani energies. The cancellation also included the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport takeover plan.
While delivering the annual Presidential address on the state of the nation. He claimed that new information from partners guided his decision to make such a move.
Kenyans have Celebrated the move massively and a section of them have congratulated his bold move.
Well, opposition defacto leader Kalonzo Musyoka has Sent in new demands to President William Ruto. This is just a few hours after his decision on Adani.

Kalonzo has demanded the cancellation of Adani deal in the health sector. He has insisted that the Indian group must leave the country in totality without allowing them to enter into any partnership going forward.
“It is not enough to cancel the #AdaniGroup deals in JKIA and Ketraco; Adani is also in SHA/SHIF. Ruto should also cancel this deal immediately! On November 27, we will appear in court on behalf of the Kenyan people regarding JKIA, demanding strict accountability and transparency on these Adani Deals!” Posted Kalonzo Musyoka.
