Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has finally reacted to the remarks made by Nyeri County governor His Excellency Mutahi Kahiga. Speaking in Nyeri County, Kahiga claimed that God took Raila Odinga because he was taking away developments that belonged to the people of Mount Kenya region.
These remarks triggered a response from orange democratic Party leaders who went ahead to ban Gachagua from setting foot at Raila’s home in Bondo, Siaya County. Well, Kalonzo Musyoka has sent this message to Kenyans.
Through his social media platforms, Kalonzo has shared a statement agreed upon by the United opposition. They have distanced themselves from the video of Mutahi Kahiga celebrating the death of Raila Odinga.

According to the opposition spokesperson Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, the United Democratic party should call out Kahiga since he is a UDA Party elected leader.
They have also called out the council of governors to censor Mutahi Kahiga for his speech that has elicited mixed reactions online with Kenyans calling him out. Despite resigning as the council of governors vice chair, Kenyans are still demanding for his resignation as the Nyeri County governor.
