The President of the United republic of Tanzania Her Excellency Samia Suluhu has finally opened up on what led to the protests in Tanzania and subsequent burning of the country by the youths who were demanding for justice and election reforms.
Speaking during the formation of the inquiry commission, Suluhu stated that he has information that some of the Protesters who took to the Streets received money to burn the country.

She told the commissioners selected to inquire about what happened to investigate the opposition parties and see if they have any reactions with those that are suspected to have funded the protests that led to the loss of lives in various parts of the country immediately she was declared winner and even before the results were announced.
Suluhu also focused on foreigners. She blamed a section of the people outside the country for leading to the protests. She mourned those that lost their lives during the protests and promised to take action once the report is tabled for review on her desk.
