Orange Democratic party member of Parliament has been arrested. According to the information shared by the party, the leader was picked by Police and is currently being held in Eldoret.
The Raila-led party is demanding an explanation on why its member was arrested without explanation. This is coming amid numerous abductions that are being reported in the country.
Trurkana South member of Parliament Honorable John Ariko who doubles up as Orange democratic Party National Vice Chairperson is locked up at Central Police Station in Eldoret.
“@DCI_Kenya officers in Eldoret have this evening arrested Turkana South MP Mr. John Ariko, our National Vice Chairman without any explanation. He is locked up at the Central Police Station in Eldoret town. We demand an explanation from the IG of police on this incident.”
