Dramatic Scenes are unfolding at Milimani law courts, Nairobi Kenya. From what is happening, it seems like attorneys representing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua are not taking chances on legal issues.
Kenyans are witnessing something that has never happened before in the country. Today, the bench led by justice Ogolla has been asked to leave the matter after the rescue petition was filled.
According to lawyer Dr. Khaminwa, it was not good for the judges to stay put in a case that some Advocates are not comfortable with them. He has asked them to leave the case and allow other judges to listen and determine the petition.
“My Lord, during the colonial period, there was a judge who was always ready to leave a case once he was told not to continue. What is wrong with you leaving this trial for other judges to takeover?” Asked Khaminwa.
