Judge Ogolla Sends A Warning To Gachagua Legal Team Over This

The impeachment case filled at Milimani law courts by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is taking a dramatic turn. The judges presiding over the matter seems to be running out of patience on how things are playing out. Two days ago, they were forced to adjourn the Court session for deliberation on if they were appointed properly.

They ruled that Deputy Chief Justice followed the constitution in constituting the bench. This decision was protested by attorneys attached to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Well, justice Ogolla has issued a warning on what is happening.

Justice Ogolla has said that no more games in his court and people will not be allowed to take the court In circles on the important matter. He has asked the defence team representing Gachagua to be more organized and focus on the issues at hand.

This is coming just a day after the bench which he is leading was asked by the Gachagua defence team to rescue itself.  The defence lawyers had submitted that Deputy Chief Justice does not have power to constitute a bench when Chief Justice is around.

However, after deliberation, judges declared they were legally constituted hence able to proceed. Something that angered those allied to Gachagua.

Advocates representing National Assembly, senate, Kindiki, President William Ruto and others are fighting to lift the conservatory orders imposed by justice Chacha Mwita.

While sitting at Milimani law courts, Nairobi, Justice Chacha Mwita halted any process of removing Gachagua from the office. This  move blocked the government from Swearing in professor Kindiki as the designated Deputy President.

The decision has left the country with confusion on who should be the second in command. Some of the leaders allied to the head of the State are claiming the country will be in a crisis in case something happens to president William Ruto IEBC in place.

The court is expected to rule on the lifting of conservatory orders at 2:30PM. If the orders are lifted, then professor Kindiki will be sworn in as the second in command replacing embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
