Just a year after Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga made his entry to the Kenya Kwanza administration through what he termed a broad based government.
KANU party leader Honorable Gideon Moi made the same decision after an intensive meeting at State House Nairobi and another one at Kabarak, Nakuru County. Well, Jubilee Party officials have reacted to the issues.
According to the Jubilee Party Deputy Organizing Secretary Pauline Njoroge, Kalonzo Musyoka has now a better chance of leading Kenya with Mount Kenya region up for grab, Western region and a section of coast region. He is therefore in the opposition to stay with many leaders looking forward to working with him.
Jubilee Party Deputy Organizing Secretary Pauline Njoroge Statement.
After a successful Wiper NDC yesterday, some broad-based government supporters who have been living in denial were all over social media making funny claims: “Oh, very soon you’ll see Kalonzo being taken mararoundi State House.” “Oh, Kalonzo is joining Ruto soon. Gideon has already gone to pave the way.” “Ohhh…”
Let’s be serious. Why would Kalonzo abandon the united opposition when he now stands his best chance at the presidency? With a solid opening balance from Mt. Kenya, Kamba, and Kisii regions, and additional support from parts of the Coast, Western, and the Maa community, what would he be running to Ruto for? What exactly would Ruto be offering him?
Kalonzo is not a man who will trade his inheritance for a morsel of bread.
