Speaking in Parliament, Ichung’wah clarified that the money he used to buy shares was a loan he took from the Parliamentary Sacco. He asked the President to mention the names of those who took the bribes Since his remarks have led to the attacks online by Kenyans who are targeting him without any evidence.
“Mr. Speaker sir, I want to make it clear that I’m one of the people who are being attacked online after the revelation by President William Ruto. Some people are now claiming that I might be the person who was mentioned by the President for having 150 million shillings. I was to make it clear, the money I used to buy shares came from the Sacco. It has nothing to do with bribes. Those involved should be mentioned so that we don’t generalize the whole house.” Said Ichung’wah in a video seen by us.
