On January 3, 2025. President William Ruto’s Message was rejected by Embu residents. Those who had attended the funeral of former Embu Senator Kivuti’s son refused to listen to the speech by the President. The move was dramatic sending shockwaves across the country.
President chief advisor Moses Kuria came out and asked the former senator to distance himself from the chaotic environment. Well, just a day after Ruto was rejected, a video of Gachagua being Celebrated has emerged.

According to the video widely shared online. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was celebrated in Laikipia county leaving Kenyans talking.
Sen. Methu made a call to Gachagua who addressed residents of Shamata who were really happy to listen to him. This is contrast to President William Ruto’s condolences Speech which was rejected in Embu county forcing Justine Muturi to handover the speech to the family so that they can read it by themselves.
Many have interpreted the political temperatures as a political error made by President William Ruto on impeaching Gachagua. It seems like he was the Kenya Kwanza ground mobilizer in 2022 hence dripping him was a very big mistake.
Many are waiting to see the formula that Ruto will use to convince Mount Kenya region residents to vote for him come 2027.
