Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is a man under siege. His political career is facing extinction if he will be impeached by the national assembly of Kenya.
Members of Parliament are expected to vote on his ouster tomorrow and it will be the end of him. As he waits to see the outcome of the impeachment voting, another allegations has been brought up. His sentiments on someone’s marriage landed him in trouble.
Murang’a woman representative Betty Maina has come out publicly to accuse Gachagua of saying unpalatable words on her marriage.

According to her, during dowry negotiation, Gachagua said their marriage will not last more than six months. He allegedly insulted them hence the reason he won’t forgive him at all.
Betty Maina is one of legislators that will be voting to remove Gachagua from office come Tuesday, October 7, 2024. She signed the impeachment motion unapologetically and promised to send him home.
