Kihika came to power with massive support from the United Democratic party pushing then governor Lee Kinyanjui out of office. Her popularity was so massive that she sailed through without much pressure.
Well, it seems like things are not playing out as expected ahead of the 2027 general election. According to the video seen by us, Njoro residents rejected a two term slogan which was being fronted by newly nominated MCA Ruth Nduta.

Despite trying to plead with residents to chant two term slogans for Kihika. Residents asked her to leave if she continues with her calls.
This has been interpreted as a political wave against Kihika and she has been asked to move and solve the differences before it is too late.
She will be looking forward to getting Reelected by Nakuru residents. Her main challenge is the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who has been on record calling for her removal from the office in the 2027 general election.
