Kenyans woke up to the news that a bill has been sent to Parliament with an aim of increasing the Presidential term Limit from current five years to seven. In the same proposal, it was alleged that the governors will also have the same privilege of getting seven years.
The government has been forced to set the record straight. This concerns the promised bill that will see President William Ruto rule for 7 years instead of 5.

According to the Senate of Kenya, there is no a such bill that has been taken to the Senate. Kenyans have been asked to remain vigilant to avoid fake news that could trigger anxiety.
