Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is expected to land in Kenya on August 21, 2025. His arrival has put security agencies on a high alert with interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen asking Kenyans not to go to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport if they are not supposed to be there.
Well, Gachagua has taken his time to send a message to his host Nation, United States of America.
Through his official X account, Gachagua has thanked his host Nation, USA for hosting him and his wife well. He promised to come back as soon as possible and continue with his visit and meetings.

The former second in command is expected back in the country with his focus now on the upcoming elections slotted for November. He is determined to stump authority within Mount Kenya region and across the country.
On the other hand, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is determined to gain control of mount Kenya and prove to his allies, he has authority over Gachagua. Mbeere North by election is going to be a battlefield to determine who is the kingpin.
