The battle of 2027 is clearly taking shape. Various leaders are coming together with alignment plans. They are targeting to win the 2027 general election. The opposition team has several leaders who are planning to run against the incumbent, President William Ruto.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua recently formed his party DCP, a party he is planning to use to run for the top seat in the country. However, he has been warned and informed that one thing he is doing that will hand Ruto a second term easily.

According to Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni, it will be political suicide for Gachagua to the on the ballot in 2027. With him vying, Ruto will get his second term easily.
Kioni has asked Gachagua to reconsider his ambitions and allow Matiang’i to go for the top seat since he has the charisma and national outlook that is acceptable everywhere.
‘ we must make Ruto a one term President. He has made so many promises that we can’t even count. He will not fix this country at all. It is therefore good to give him a strong candidate. This candidate is Matiang’i. Gachagua should support him.” Said Kioni in a video seen by us.
