Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has opened up about the meeting between President William Ruto and former President Uhuru Kenyatta. A meeting which took place at Ichaweri, Kiambu County sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans who did not expect it to Happen.
Account to political analysts, the meeting was all about political realignment ahead of the 2027 general election. It had nothing to do with the state of the nation. Some leaders claimed it was focused on reducing Gachagua’s influence in the Mount Kenya region.
Well, Gachagua has responded with a message to Ruto and Uhuru over their meeting. According to him, mount Kenya region residents are not told what they should do.

So, those who are meeting with plans to direct them on what to do should be more focused on something else. He has prints to continue as a champion for the Centra region block despite being called tribal by many leaders.
“I don’t know what President Ruto and Uhuru talked about at Ichaweri, but one thing I know is that people from the mountain are not told what to do” Gachagua
Gachagua was even removed from the office for allegedly being tribal. Something he is proud of. He has maintained that he loves his people and nothing will stop him from feeding them ever.
