Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is in Mbeere North, Embu County campaigning for the DP party candidate Karish in the most followed By-election in the republic of Kenya.
Flanked by Wiper Party leader Honorable Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa and Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah.
Gachagua fired salvos at Embu County governor Her Excellency Cecily Mbarire, a statement that landed him in trouble.

According to the video, Gachagua asked the Mbeere North people not to listen to governor Cecily Mbarire because she is married to the Teso community and therefore should not be listened to.
He continued by adding that she is planning to bring ‘ wakora’ from Teso to distract Mount Kenya region unity.
These remarks have left a section of Kenyans calling him out of being tribal and not tolerating people with divergent opinions. Some have reminded him that tribalism was one of the reasons he was thrown out if the government and it is important if he tones down on the whole attacks directed at different communities.
