Gachagua Hosts Sifuna and Natembeya After Jetting Back From USA (Photos)
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has hosted Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya shortly after returning to Kenya from the United States.
Gachagua reportedly jetted back into the country on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in a low-key arrival that attracted attention amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Immediately after his return, the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader met the Linda Mwananchi delegation led by Sifuna and Natembeya.
The meeting has sparked political interest, given the leaders’ recent efforts to strengthen their political influence and rally Kenyans around issues affecting ordinary citizens.

Sifuna, who has emerged as a vocal political figure, has been at the centre of discussions surrounding the future of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) following internal disagreements within the party.
Meanwhile, Natembeya has increasingly attracted national attention through his political stand and outspoken criticism of certain government actions.
Gachagua’s meeting with the two leaders could further fuel speculation about possible cooperation among opposition figures seeking to challenge President William Ruto’s administration.
However, details of the discussions held during the meeting were not immediately available.
Photos shared following the gathering are expected to generate further debate among Kenyans, particularly those closely following the evolving political alliances.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, meetings involving prominent opposition leaders are likely to remain under intense public scrutiny.
