After the continuous Gen Z protests, President William Ruto bowed down to pressure and made several changes. Among the changes that he made was to dismiss his entire Cabinet and although he named some of the CSs back to the cabinet, he permanently dropped some like Eliud Owalo who was in charge of ICT.
The good thing for Owalo is that President William Ruto at least reconsidered him as he gave him another role to play in the government but all along, the former ICT CS has been silent on his dismal until today.
According to reports, Eliud Owalo astonished Kenyans as he stated that many Kenyans in the country are only preoccupied with positions. The former ICT boss went on to make it clear that he is very happy with his new job and thus, he is not angry with President William Ruto for dropping him as a CS.
That is a message that shows how different Eliud Owalo is from many Kenyans in the country who would be angry after being dropped from the Cabinet. It is a good message that shows Kenyans that positions are not everything, so one should be flexible enough to change if his position is shifted.
