Eugene Wamalwa Rejects Raila’s Call For Dialogue With Ruto

Eugene Wamalwa Distances Himself from Raila’s Declaration at KICCToday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga announced that he and Deputy President William Ruto had agreed to initiate a dialogue with the youth starting Monday.

The declaration aimed to foster greater youth involvement in national issues and seek common ground amid political tensions.However, Eugene Wamalwa has publicly distanced himself from this initiative.

In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Wamalwa stated unequivocally that he would not be part of the dialogue, leaving Raila’s plans exposed and casting doubt on the unity behind the proposed discussions.

“I am not aligned with this idea and will not participate,” Wamalwa tweeted, signaling a significant rift within the political alliance.

The development adds a new layer of complexity to the political landscape, highlighting the challenges in achieving cohesive leadership and effective youth engagement.
