Former Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’i has left his supporters angry after his latest remark. Matiang’i, a man who dominated former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Cabinet with zeal, recently declared interest in the top leadership position, the Presidency.
At a rally a few weeks ago at Kisii and Nyamira. He claimed to have a better solution for the problems affecting the republic of Kenya.
Many of his followers Praised him and even sanded that he makes more tours across the country for a good strategic plan ahead of the 2027 general election.

Well, it seems like his vibrancy is being tested. According to the latest information shared to us, he has canceled his Mount Kenya region tour citing political tension in the region.
Many of his followers are very disappointed. Some have asked him to continue with the tour since pulling out is a sign of political weakness.
” Why should he cancel the tour? We were waiting for him to address us. He is one of the leaders running for the top seat. Him abandoning the tour for safety reasons is a political miscalculation. He should reconsider that.” Said Alex.
