Deputy President of the republic of Kenya Kithure Kindiki has finally spoken after shots were fired at DCP party launch. According to the video seen by us, a police officer was forced to fire warning shots in the air in an attempt to disperse rowdy youths who had demanded to enter the vanue and cause chaos.
Those at the gate were seen running for their lives before calm was restored and the event continued peacefully. Well, the second in command has finally spoken through his official social media account.
According to Kindiki, Kenyans should be able to live in harmony and put political difference aside.
“Our country must exercise democratic tolerance and embrace issue-based politics. Insults, violence and divisive rhetoric as a means of processing political differences of opinion have no place in our society. We owe to the current and future generations a nation built on peace, peaceful coexistence and respect for one another even if when we disagree on issues of policy.” Posted Kindiki.
