Just a few days ago, Embu County governor Cecily Mbarire made it known her frustrations. While speaking in Embu during the Madaraka day celebration, Mbarire claimed that some people in the Kenya Kwanza administration were holding late night meetings in Embu with a plan to instigate her political downfall.
It seems like the lamentations will not stop anytime soon. According to a photo shared online, Kindiki has made a tactical move that has elicited mixed reactions.
According to reports, Kindiki hosted leaders from Embu County. Those who attended his meeting are; Public Service Cabinet Secretary Ruku, Embu Senator Mundigi, Woman representative Njoki among others.

Although they have captioned the meeting as a development one, many Kenyans are questioning its timing keeping in mind, it is coming just days after Cecily Mbarire complained of frustrations from UDA Party officials. She was also missing in action from the meeting leaving many speculating about the possibility of her being on the way out of the UDA Party.
“DP Kithure Kindiki Hosted Embu Leaders led immediate former Mbeere North MP Hon Ruku, Senator Mundigi,Woman Rep Njoki, Runyenjes MP Karemba, and Mbeere South MP Muriuki. They discussed the status of national government projects in the County and the government interventions to strengthen Muguka, coffee, tea etc etc.” report.
